Subaru Outback Towing Capacity
For over 30 years, the Subaru Outback has taken drivers in the Oklahoma area further than ever. Since 2019, the Subaru Outback has delivered on this notion, featuring standard symmetrical AWD and turbocharged engines.
From the debut of the 6th generation in 2020 to the 2021, 2022, and 2023 Subaru Outback, the max towing capacity is 3,500 lbs. when equipped with a turbo engine. Outback models with the standard engine can tow up to 2,700 lbs.
Subaru Crosstrek Towing Capacity
The sub-compact Subaru Crosstrek packs significant power, offering 182 horsepower and Subaru off-roading capability. In recent years, the Subaru Crosstrek (2020-2023) has delivered a max towing capacity of 1,500 lbs.
The most recent edition of the Crosstrek, Subaru, has improved towing ability in the 2024 Crosstrek Wilderness edition, providing a max towing capacity of 3,500 lbs. Standard engine 2024 Crosstrek models still output a max towing capacity of 1,500 lbs.

Since the release of the Subaru Forester Wilderness Edition, the Forester has increased its max towing capacity to 3,000 lbs.
