Subaru Adds Performance-Focused Upgrades to the 2024 Subaru BRZ tS

Subaru’s quintessential front-engine, rear-wheel-drive sports car, the 2024 Subaru BRZ tS, made its Global Debut at Subiefest California in July. The latest edition of the BRZ tS offers the best performance and handling ability in a BRZ ever, thanks to STI-tuned suspension and a Brembo braking system. The BRZ tS will also add driver-assist features paired with a manual transmission for the first time. New Features in the 2024 Subaru BRZ tS

The 2024 Subaru BRZ tS welcomes track-tested brakes and suspension systems upgrades. The Brembo brakes include gold-painted 4-piston front calipers, gold-painted 2-piston rear calipers, and larger pads and rotors, enhancing stopping power, fade resistance, and pedal feel. Meanwhile, the STI-tuned front and rear Hitachi dampers maximize its lightweight, ultra-low center of gravity and precision handling, resulting in greater flexibility and improved control and stability. The 2024 BRZ tS will also have 18-inch wheels mounted with 215/40 R18 Michelin Pilot Sport 4 tires for superior grip and control around corners.

 

The BRZ tS will now have a manual transmission model with the EyeSight Driver Assist Technology. This is the first time the two are paired in a Subaru vehicle, and it includes critical assist features like Adaptive Cruise Control, Pre-Collision Braking System, Lane Departure and Sway Warning, and Lead Vehicle Start Alert.

 

Aesthetically, the BRZ adds new tS badging in the front grille and on the rear decklid. The tS trim level will have a new exterior color, Crystal Black Silica, plus all the colors available on the standard Subaru BRZ. 

 

Engine & Other Key Features

The 2024 Subaru BRZ tS will have a 228-hp 2.4-liter SUBARU BOXER engine under the hood. The BRZ tS welcomes riders into its cabin with black upholstery with tS-only contrasting blue stitching on the front seat bolsters, leather-wrapped steering wheel, shifter boot, and parking brake boot. Drivers will have a 7-inch digital cluster to stay connected and entertain passengers. Other standard features in the 2024 Subaru BRZ tS include

  • TORSEN limited-slip differential
  • Keyless Access with Push-Button Start
  • LED headlights (low and high beam) with automatic height adjustment
  • Vehicle Stability Control with Track Mode
  • Dual-zone automatic climate control
