2025 Subaru Forester Specs & Features
2025 Subaru Forester for Sale
The Subaru Forester returns for model year 2025 with a redesigned exterior, updated powertrain, and more passenger space. The sixth-generation Forester still plays to its strong suit. While the Outback maximizes cargo space to fit more oversized items, the Forester’s boxier design makes for a more comfortable ride for everyone in the cabin, offering more space for you and your passengers to spread out. The Forester also gets some new tech features for this generation, with an electric power-steering rack, foot-activated tailgate, and a hybrid powertrain coming later in the production cycle. The Forester was designed for off-road adventures, camping trips, and traversing mountain paths. 2025 Subaru Forester Trim Levels & Designs
The Forester comes in five trim levels:
| Trim Level: | Starting MSRP: |
| 2025 Subaru Forester | $29,695 |
| 2025 Subaru Forester Premium | $31,995 |
| 2025 Subaru Forester Sport | $34,495 |
| 2025 Subaru Forester Limited | $35,995 |
| 2025 Subaru Forester Touring | $39,995 |
Each trim level offers a different value proposition. The base model features a loaded safety and tech suite, roof rails, and other standard features, but the higher you climb, the more features you’ll find. More premium trim levels feature a panoramic moonroof, power rear gate, heated leather seats in the front and rear, and several other available features. The interior is practically designed, with increasingly luxurious materials in the cabin as you want them. 29.6 cubic feet of space is available behind the rear row, but the Forester can hold up to 74.4 cubic feet of volume with the rear row folded. The exterior features paint options like River Rock Pearl, Horizon Blue Pearl, and Autumn Green metallic.
2025 Forester MPG & Engine Performance
The Forester is powered by a 2.5-liter four-cylinder that produces 180 horsepower and 178 lb-ft of torque. It’s paired with a continuously variable transmission (CVT) and standard all-wheel drive. We’re also looking at a hybrid powertrain, which is said to be released in 2025. You can expect to get 26 MPG in the city and 33 MPG on the highway, plus a towing capacity of 3,000 lbs. Design updates make the Forester a quieter and more refined ride this year than in past designs. Visit our Edmond Subaru dealership to explore the 2025 Forester for yourself!
Driver Assist Features & Connective Technology
The Forester features more driver assistance and safety features than most SUVs in this segment. All models are equipped with the EyeSight system, a camera-based safety system that includes automated braking, lane-keeping, and standard adaptive cruise control. Other tech highlights include an 11.6-inch infotainment center that houses a wireless charger and allows you to connect to Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
