2026 Subaru Uncharted Coming Soon to Bob Moore Subaru
Subaru plans to add to its all-electric lineup in 2026 with the brand-new Subaru Uncharted, a new nameplate for the brand. The Uncharted is an all-electric SUV, with the Crosstrek being the closest thing to it in Subaru’s ICE inventory. This marks the 2nd expansion of Subaru’s EV inventory, with the first entry being the Subaru Solterra. The Uncharted will be a smaller, more affordable option to the Solterra, with Subaru focused on delivering a budget-friendly EV with mass-market appeal. The 2026 Uncharted was developed alongside Toyota’s C-HR, and shares several features with it, but the Uncharted is available in a single-engine configuration designed to maximize range while keeping costs down. We’ll cover everything we know about the new EV Subaru, from the Subaru Uncharted range to the cargo space. If you’d like to learn more about the Uncharted, visit Bob Moore Subaru dealer in OKC.
New Subaru Uncharted EV Powertrain
The Uncharted comes with your choice of two motor configurations. Base models have a single motor that generates 221 horsepower, with power routed to the front axle. If you’re looking for an extra kick of horsepower, there’s a dual-motor configuration that will take you to 338 ponies. The Uncharted doesn’t project to be the best off-road SUV in Subaru’s lineup, opting instead for comfortable highway cruising. In its most powerful configuration, the Subaru EV SUV should run from 0 to 60 in about five seconds. It draws power from a 74.7 kWh battery, which promises 300 miles of range in FWD and 290 miles of range with AWD. It uses the North American Charging Standard (NACS) port, so it can charge at DC fast chargers and Tesla Superchargers. In ideal conditions, the Subaru uncharted should charge from 10 to 80 percent after about 30 minutes of charging.
2026 Uncharted Trim Levels and Cabin
While we don’t have the full specs for the Uncharted yet, it is projected to be a subcompact SUV with an extra 25 cubic feet of cargo space behind the 2nd row. For its first production run, the Uncharted will come in three trim levels:
- 2026 Subaru Uncharted Premium FWD
- 2026 Subaru Uncharted Sport
- 2026 Subaru Uncharted GT
Every Uncharted promises to be well-equipped, with base models that have keyless entry, push button start, heated front seats, and interior ambient lighting. Both the Sport and GT have the more powerful powertrain, with added features like ventilated front seats, a Harmon Kardon stereo, a panoramic glass roof, and a 360-degree surround view monitor. We’ll keep you up to date as we learn more about what to expect from the new Subaru Uncharted.
2026 Subaru Uncharted Technology and Features
For a budget-focused EV, the Subaru Uncharted has a remarkable amount of features and amenities. Every Uncharted comes equipped with a pair of wireless chargers up front and features a 14.0-inch display screen that supports wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. We expect the Uncharted to get the full slate of Subaru’s safety technology, including features like adaptive cruise control, lane departure warnings, and pre-collision braking. More premium features like lane change assistance, traffic jam assistance, and a panoramic camera view are all available as well. When the Uncharted releases, we expect it to be one of the most well-equipped Subarus in our inventory.
2026 Subaru Uncharted Release Date and Pre-Order
The Subaru Uncharted was unveiled in July 2025, and we expect to start seeing them on our lot in the first quarter. If you’d like to be the first in OKC to get your hands on the new Subaru EV, contact Bob Moore Subaru OKC.
