New Subaru EV for Sale in OKC | 2027 Subaru Getaway Preview

Subaru continues to expand its lineup of EV SUVs with the 2027 Subaru Getaway. A new nameplate for the Subaru brand, the Getaway joins the Subaru Uncharted, Solterra, and Trailseeker, rounding out the all-electric Subaru SUVs with a three-row option. Subaru’s largest EV promises to be plenty spacious, with a two-motor powertrain expected to deliver satisfying acceleration. The Subaru Getaway also delivers a great range for a larger SUV, promising to be a perfect companion for trips to the lake over the summer. Of course, the new Subaru EV SUV keeps with the ethos that’s made the brand so successful, with a practical, well-spaced cabin, standard AWD, and plenty of safety features. New Subaru Getaway Range and Charging

For its freshman year, the Subaru Getaway is expected to be powered by a pair of motors delivering 420 horsepower. Of course, the Getaway is a Subaru above all else, and all-wheel drive will be standard on all models. It promises to be one of the larger SUVs on our lot, but even still, it should run from 0 to 60 in five seconds flat, impressive given its size and weight. If you’re looking for towing ability, you might want to stick with a gas SUV, but the new Getaway can tow up to 3,500 lbs when called upon. Subaru promises the Getaway will get over 300 miles per charge, though at the time of this writing, we don’t have confirmed range numbers yet. Two batteries will be available, with a 77-kWh battery as the base option and an extended-range 96-kWh battery available. It will come standard with an NACS charging port, allowing it to use the Tesla Supercharger network. When optimally charged, it should go from 10 to 80 percent charge in about half an hour. 

2027 Getaway Trim Levels and Cabin

The 2027 Subaru Getaway will be a mid-size EV, with three rows and 16 cubic feet of storage behind the rear row. Folding that rear row opens up 46 cubic feet of total cargo volume. The first iteration of the Subaru Getaway is expected in three trim levels: 

• 2027 Subaru Getaway Premium
• 2027 Subaru Getaway Limited
• 2027 Subaru Getaway Touring

We’re not sure what the MSRPs will be for the new Subaru EV SUV, but you’ll find them on our website as soon as we have them in stock. We’re expecting the Limited to be the most popular choice, with 20-inch wheels, a 360-degree camera system, three rows of heated seats, and a heated steering wheel. The exterior should also get a ladder-type roof rack. Standard models will have a bench in the middle row, with room for seven. You can opt for captain’s chairs in the middle instead, reducing seating capacity to six passengers.

2027 Subaru Getaway Features

In classic Subaru style, the cabin is built with practicality in mind. It’s a satisfying design choice that incorporates technology throughout the cabin, with a 14.0-inch touchscreen as the star of the show, serving as your infotainment unit. It helps the Getaway connect to Bluetooth, wireless Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto. It’s flanked by a 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster behind the steering wheel. You’ll find USB-C ports across all three rows, so your entire family stays charged. The base speaker pack isn’t anything to write home about, but a 13-speaker Harman/Kardon stereo system is available. The new Subaru SUV will likely earn a 5/5 safety rating, and comes standard with features like adaptive cruise control, lane keeping assistance, and automated emergency braking.

2027 Subaru Getaway Release Date
